Jaguar MkII Restoration Part 2
Our Jaguar MkII restoration is now complete. We have sympathetically restored the 1962 Jaguar to its former glory.
From the outset, we have set out to ensure that all restoration work we completed was to the original specification where possible.
The car is a MkII 3.4 litre engine with manual overdrive transmission, it has its original UK number plates. The car is finished in its factory original Cotswold Blue. With 91,000 miles on the clock, it has an MOT until September 2018 with no advisories.
The Cotswold Blue exterior has developed a lovely patina over the year. It still has the original wheels and hubcaps.
Inside we have refurbished the woodwork in Walnut and Mahogany to match the original fittings, all carpets have been replaced to give the car a smart look inside.
The seats are all red leather and are in great condition. They incorporate the rare Reutter reclining front seats with picnic tables.
The Jaguar comes complete with a period radio, which is believed to be original.
Through its lifetime the car has been lovingly cared for, evidenced by how well the car runs and the good condition of the body.
